Runway Show Benefits March of Dimes

premature birthEUGENE, Ore. — Twenty local businesswomen are hitting the runway Wednesday night to show off some fun fashions while helping a great cause.

It’s all part of the second annual High Heels for High Hopes event at the Kendall Toyota showroom in Eugene. It’s a benefit for the March of Dimes. Last year, they raised $30,000. This year they’ve already raised $46,000, and they hope to raise more.

“This event is very volunteer driven, these 19 ladies plus the models from last year work very hard to make this event successful,” said Aimee Corey of March of Dimes.

Each of the models will wear one of three themed looks: A Night Out on the Town, Just Want to Have Fun, or Dress for Success.”

The pre-show kicks off at 6 p.m. and the runway show starts at 7 p.m.
