RV Show Rolls Into Town

2-28 rv picEUGENE, Ore. — The 45th annual Eugene RV Show has rolled into town. It will be held at the Lane Events Center and will feature over 200 RVs.

The RVs are decked out with things like European pullout dishwashers and remote systems that run the fireplace and roof.

The Excel RV by Peterson Industries is made by hand and can withstand a 6.0 magnitude earthquake.

“Years ago, people wanted a roof over their head, some heat, some air conditioning and some water. Nowadays they want interactive app TVs, plug in places for their mobile cards and power buttons and control modules that will run everything,” says Eric Benson with George M. Sutton RV.

They’re all decked out, and there’s even one that allows you to live off the grid for an entire year. It’s called the BOSS Bug Out Survival Shelter. It was designed by survival expert Tim Ralston, the star of the National Geographic show Doomsday Preppers.

The show kicks off Friday and runs through the weekend. The first 1,000 people who gets tickets online will get two free admission tickets.
