Sanipac Employees Hold Bicycle Drive

EUGENE, Ore. — Employees with Sanipac have the ball rolling on a big bike collection, and they need your help.

For the past couple of months, the company has been working to raise money for its fourth annual Christmas Promise event. They use the money to buy bicycles, and then they donate them to different organizations, including Toys for Tots.

Last year, employees put together 100 bikes. This year, they’re hoping to double that number, and organizers say they’re glad the project has grown every year.

“We try to look at ways to give back…and you’ll see one of our mottos is doing good in our community, and that’s one of things we did, and try to figure out a way to give back, and Christmas time and the holidays is a great time,” said Scott Johnson, District Manager.

Sanipac is collecting donations until Dec. 6. You can drop them off at 1650 Glenwood Blvd. in Eugene.
