Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:
A Flood Warning continues for the Coquille River at Coquille; the river is expected to peak before Monday afternoon.
Scattered showers continue Monday; the showers will be light with a few sunbreaks mixed in. Light snow showers will continue the the central Cascades, with additional snowfall amounts of 1-2″ over 4,000 feet. Breezy conditions will continue across the rest of the area.
A High Wind Warning continues for Coos County until 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sustained winds will be around 35-45mph with gusts around 60mph.
The next strong front moves through Tuesday, bringing another round of heavy rain and additional snow in the mountains. Scattered showers wrap up Wednesday, but cooler temperatures follow on the backside of the storm. High temps will be in the upper 40s starting Wednesday.
