Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:
A Flood Warning continues for the Coquille River at Coquille; the river will remain above flood stage until Friday evening.
Scattered rain and snow showers continue Tuesday night into Wednesday as the storm system pushes off to the east. Over the next 36 hours, areas above 3000′ can expect an additional 7-16″ of snow; all showers will be light.
Showers will end Thursday for the inland areas; but another storm will graze the the coast, bringing scattered showers again Friday. By the weekend we’ll be in a split flow pattern, meaning no major storms systems headed our way. Dry weather will start Saturday for the entire area and remain dry through the first part of next week. High temperatures will be in the low 40s and lows will be near freezing, through the forecast period.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday and Merry Christmas!
