School Bus Crash Sends 3 to Hospital

ROSEBURG, Ore. — Three people, two of which were children, were taken to the hospital after a school bus accident in Roseburg.

Roseburg Police say a Durham bus rear-ended and totaled a car on Northeast Stephens and Newton Creek on Wednesday around 2 p.m.

The car stopped for a woman in a wheelchair who was crossing the street and that’s when the bus rear ended the car.

A woman and two children were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Thirty-seven students were on the bus from Joseph Lane Middle School.

The bus driver was cited for following too closely.
