EUGENE, Ore. — A school bus loaded with more than two dozen second graders started a three-car crash on Highway 101 south of Coos Bay.
Everyone is okay. It all started on Thursday afternoon when an truck carrying asphalt had a mechanical malfunction, which then caused asphalt to spill onto the highway.
A deputy responded, warning traffic of the danger. That’s when the driver of the bus ran into the back of an SUV. That collision sent the suburban into another car.
At this time, troopers have not issued any citations.
