The executive director of the school says he knew it was going to get cold last weekend, so he kept the heat on and ran the water, but on Monday morning the water wasn’t working.
The frozen pipes started thawing, and on Wednesday one pipe burst above the ceiling, and another burst Friday.
“I think of it as a puzzle. And you’re trying to put the puzzle together. And to do that, I had to go back to 1950 building plans and follow pipelines along and figure out where they are and what they’re doing,” said Dan Hays, Muddy Creek School Executive Director.
The school is planning on being open again Monday morning.
