EUGENE, Ore. — More than 3,000 students enrolled in the Oregon Connections Academy will head back to school Tuesday by logging on to their computers.
The virtual school is the largest tuition-free, online charter school in the state.
It was started in 2005 with just a few hundred students. It has since expanded, serving kindergarten through 12th grade students all over the state.

My daughter is starting high school today in Oregon Connections Academy (ORCA), a year ahead of schedule. She has been a student there since 3rd grade and this school has been one of the best things to ever happen to our family. I cannot stress enough how this school has… QUALITY instructors and ciriculum, improved our lives, saves us time and money, makes her MUCH more independent, allows her to eat REAL food, helped her avoid all of the sex, drugs, violence, bullying as well as other harmful actions that go on in every B&M school, she never gets sick, and it has given us complete FREEDOM. I STRONGLY recommend ORCA to one and all!
