EUGENE, Ore. — All this week we’ve taken an in-depth look at our local education system.
Now, we wrap up the series with adults thoughts on our education system now compared to when they were in school. Perhaps the biggest difference between the last few decades and now is changes in technology. Most recently, technology has brought online grading to many local middle schools and high schools.
Students point out all the benefits of the technology tools, but teachers and parents fear upcoming budget cuts will hamper future improvements in the classroom.
