EUGENE, Ore. — Well over 1,000 local Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and varsity team members took to the streets of Lane County to collect food for people in need. “Scouting for Food” is an annual event that brings in 10-15 tons of food each year.
Willamette High School was one of three drop off locations. It partnered with the Salvation Army. Each participating location partnered with different local food banks.
