(CNN) — The second American aid worker infected with Ebola in Liberia was back in the United State for treatment, Tuesday.
A specially-equipped Medevac plane carrying Nancy Writebol landed at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Georgia, after first stopping in Maine to refuel.
Writebol will be driven to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta for treatment. That’s the same hospital that is treating the other American infected, Dr. Kent Brantly.
They both contracted the disease while working with a Christian mission group.
