EUGENE, Ore. – Two local non-profits are teaming up and declaring September “Look Me In The Eye Month”, a campaign that aims to raise awareness about the rights of people with disabilities.
The idea stems from the partnership of Full Access and the Oregon Supported Living Program, two local non-profits. This is the third year of the campaign, and they’re hosting a proclamation event Thursday with State Representative Val Hoyle.
The event is at Full Access, located at 1240 Charnelton Street, at 11:30 a.m.
