Sewage Leaks in Junction City Ditch

JUNCTION CITY, Ore. — Public Works crews are replacing a pipe that broke and caused sewage to leak Tuesday morning.

Crews were called at about 8:45 a.m. to the ditch that runs north along Rose Street at 13th Avenue where the sewage was leaking.

They don’t have an estimated time of when they will be finished.

Until then, students at Laurel Elementary and Oaklea Middle School and residents are being asked to use an alternate route until the area is cleaned up.
