EUGENE, Ore. — The recently renovated Broadway Commerce Center is out of retail space, but it’s allowing local vendors to sell to the community in a different way Friday night.
The Eug Pop-up Shop will take over the Atrium starting at 6 p.m.
Pop-up retail, or flash retailing, is a trend of opening short-term sale spaces.
The person behind Friday’s event has done them before and says it’s great way to showcase local products to the public differently.
“The concept behind this pop-up shop is to curate local handmade items and fill up the space for first Fridays as more of a boutique than a craft show,” said Kylie Grater, Event Coordinator.
