EUGENE, Ore. — Local tree lots are handing off their last load of Christmas trees to those last minute holiday decorators. Businesses say today wasn’t as busy as yesterday which could be attributed to the rain. But they say each year dozens of people contiue to purchase Christmas trees right up until the clock runs out, in an effort to spruce up their home in the knick of time.
“I’ve actually had people get trees on Christmas Day, when I’m cleaning up. Their tradition is they put it up on Christmas Day and take it down on new years,” said Duane Crumley,
Crumley Trees Owner.
Crumleys tree lot still has some pines to get rid of. If you’re looking for a bargain, it’s lot will be open at 32nd and Hilyard all day tomorrow.
