METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
An upper level trough brought just enough instability for a few light showers Saturday; but, showers were intermittent with sun breaks and highs warmed into the low 50s.
Light showers will linger Saturday night into Sunday morning before a weak ridge builds in. The ridge will keep it partly cloudy through early Monday afternoon before the next system moves onshore Monday evening/night. The heaviest rain and snow will be Monday night, with isolated showers continuing Tuesday. Freezing level will be around 2500 feet. High temps will be in the upper 40s.
We’ll have another short break Tuesday night into Wednesday before another system swings in Wednesday night, followed by another Friday night. These systems will keep scattered showers Thursday through Saturday and freezing levels around 2500-3000 feet. Showers will be broken up with a few sun breaks. High temps will be slightly below average in the mid to upper 40s.
Have a super Sunday!
