EUGENE, Ore. — A New Year’s Eve celebration turned dangerous in west Eugene.
A woman says a little after midnight a bullet came crashing through her ceiling.
She says she’s since turned over the bullet to Eugene Police. She thinks it was from someone who shot their gun while celebrating New Year’s Eve. It landed just feet from her daughter and other children.
“It was pretty disturbing and scary because my other two sons were sitting on the love seat at the time, and if one of them were sitting next to her it could have caused some damage,” said Eugene resident Ruth Starr.
We did not get a comment from police on this specific case, but everyone is okay.
