Showers and Sunbreaks for the Workweek

video preview image

Happy first day of fall!! Fall officially started at 1:44 this afternoon. Just as fall began, so did the showers across the area. The showers are all a part of a cold front that has also brought gusty winds to the area. Wind gusts have been in 40s along the coast and 30 mph inland.

The front will move off to the east as we head into Sunday night. Behind the front is unstable air, which will keep showers over the next couple of days. So, Monday through Wednesday expect showers and sunbreaks, a typical Oregon day. High temperatures will remain on the cooler side and in the mid 60s along the coast and inland.

We’ll transition to sunnier skies by Thursday afternoon as high pressure builds in. We’ll also have slightly warmer air, which will bump highs back into the mid 70s.

Have a wonderful week!
