Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:

A Flood Warning continues for the Coquille River at Coquille. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from midnight to 10 p.m. Sunday for Douglas County above 2000 ft; an additional 4-8″ of snow is expected. Snow lines may drop as low as 1,000 ft.

Scattered rain and snow showers continue Sunday for the Willamette Valley, northern Coast and central Cascades as a system slides through southern Oregon. Heavier rain and snow will fall in the Umpqua Basin, southern Coast and southern Cascades. High temperatures remain in the low to mid 40s with lows in the mid to upper 30s.

We will be in between systems Monday, meaning dry conditions Christmas Eve. Showers and windy conditions quickly return Tuesday as a strong front swings through. The rest of the week will lean more to the drier end, but an isolated shower chance will remain.
