METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
A storm is spinning off the coast will bring showers across the area, mainly Monday afternoon. The storm will slide to our south and continue to spin in Northern California Tuesday, but showers will still wrap around and move into our area. The Cascades can expect 2-4 inches of new snow above 3,500 feet.
The storm will move to the east Wednesday, which will end the showers across our area. Skies will be partly sunny Wednesday with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s.
A weak disturbance will move across the area Thursday. This disturbance won’t have much moisture with it, so showers will mainly stick to the western slopes of the Cascades. A few showers could bring some showers to the rest of the area Thursday afternoon.
We’ll have another, small break from the wet weather Friday before another storm moves in Saturday.
Have a wonderful week!
