Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:
Showers will spread across the Wednesday as a low pressure system moves overhead. The low is pulling cold air aloft, which will spark some thunderstorms throughout the day. Some storms may produce small hail. The snow line will around 4,500 feet Wednesday, so expect about an 1″ of snow across the passes. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s.
The center of the low moves off to the east Thursday. Skies will start of cloudy, but transition to mostly sunny by the afternoon. High temperatures will be slightly warmer in the mid 60s along the coast, upper 60s in the Willamette Valley and low 70s in the Umpqua Basin.
Skies remain partly to mostly sunny through the weekend. There will be a chance for afternoon thunderstorms both Thursday through Sunday in the Cascades. Temperatures will continue to climb in the mid to upper 70s.
Have a great wonderful Wednesday!
