Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:
Showers and sunbreaks will continue Saturday as a storm moves to the east. The heaviest rain will be in the morning, with showers lingering into the afternoon. Also, some late season snow has sparked a Winter Weather Advisory above 4,500 feet. 4-7 inches of snow is expected from 8 p.m. Friday night until 11 a.m. Saturday morning. Temperatures Saturday will be in the upper 50s and low 60s.
High pressure takes control Sunday, bring the return of sunshine and warm temperatures. After some patchy fog Sunday morning, skies will be mostly sunny with temperatures climbing into the low 60s along the coast and near 70 inland. Temperatures continue to clime Monday with the continuing sunshine; highs will top out near 70 along, mid 70s in the Willamette Valley and low 80s in the Umpqua Basin.
Warm temperatures stick around next week with skies remaining mostly sunny. Highs will be in the mid 70s along the coast and mid 80s inland through Friday.
