METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
A mostly cloudy and mild start Wednesday with morning lows in the upper 40s. Changes will come around lunchtime as a cold front moves through. Scattered showers will begin around 11 a.m. for the Willamette Valley and closer to 3 p.m. in the Umpqua Basin, south coast, and Cascades foothills. Showers will continue into the evening and the early parts of tonight. There will be a few sun breaks between the showers as well.
Dry weather will return for Thursday and continue Friday. We’ll see a mix of clouds and sunshine each day with high temps in the upper 50s and low 60s.
Another, stronger storm will move through this weekend. Scattered showers will start Saturday morning and continue through Sunday afternoon; showers will become more isolated on Monday. The storm will push in cooler air dropping temperatures into the mid 50s and pulling snow lines down to 2,000 ft.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
