Showers Try To Soak Civil War

Justin’s Weekend Forecast Discussion:

Showers are starting to move back into the forecast for tonight, steady rain at times overnight and into Saturday morning. Civil War fans headed to Reser Stadium will see showers for both tailgating and kickoff at 12p. The front stalls out right on top of Western Oregon so I’m expecting wet weather most of Saturday. Highs should be cool with the soggy weather,  in the low 50s.

Sunday morning will see the last of the wet weather for a few days as next week is looking drier with a high pressure ridge building in for Sunday through Tuesday.  Cold air behind tomorrow rain will keep highs on Sunday and Monday in the upper 40s, but we should see a couple of sunny afternoons through midweek. Not bad for this time of year.

The high breaks down midweek as a strong storm system starts to sling waves of rain at us again for the end of next week. We’ll have to watch how much potential rain the computers start to call for as we get into the weekend, right now it doesn’t look like a repeat of this week’s flooding, but we’ll watch it just in case.

Have a great weekend!
