EUGENE, Ore. — You may have heard of single meetup groups before. But one group in Eugene is really catching on. It’s called the Singles Mingle Group.
Men and women looking to ditch their single status meet up once a month in hopes of clicking with that special someone. The founder, Eugene resident Heidi Brancato says it’s already proving to be successful.
“I created it because I went through a breakup myself and I realized, being a business person myself, it’s really hard to meet other singles,” says Brancato.
The turnout is usually around 50 to 60 people from ages 21 to 75. People show up with a range of occupations including attorneys, doctors, stay-at-home moms and single dads.
The event happens Friday at 8 p.m. at Sidebar and takes place every last Friday of every month. Click here for more.
