CORVALLIS, Ore.– Ten valley breweries, meaderies, ciderhouses, and distilleries have spearheaded a unique tour where you can sample award-winning beverages all produced on site using local products.
“Our popular cider is the Maid Marion and that’s marion berries fermented with apples and the berries that come from just down the street,” said Aaron Sarnoff-Wood, owner of 2 Towns Ciderhouse.
The tour is called Sip Trip and it’s a collaboration of ten destinations throughout Corvallis, Albany, and Adair Village.
“We wanted to work together to raise awareness about all of our establishments and bring more people in so we can share all of our unique products,” said Phillip Lorenz, owner of Nectar Creek Honeywine.
The ten locations all offer different beverages, and they are all just a “hop” away from each other.
“Downtown Corvallis has about 4 breweries that you can walk to within a minute or two. We have three that you can walk to within seconds,” said Lorenz.
The stops are 2 Towns Ciderhouse, 4 Spirits Distillery, Block 15, Calapooia Brewing Company, Flat Tail Brewing, Mazama Brewing, Nectar Creek Honeywine, Oregon Trail Brewing, Sky High Brewing, and Vivacity Spirits.
If you’d like to take a sip trip through the mid-valley, you can pick up a map at any of the participating craft producers or at Visit Corvallis.
