METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
The upper level low moved into southern Oregon Friday night, and was centered over Coos Bay/North Bend Saturday afternoon. The low sparked showers and thunderstorms across the area for another day.
The low will continue to spin along the coast Sunday bringing another chance for showers and storms across the area. The threat Sunday will be more limited and focused in the mountains.
Summer-like weather returns as we move into the workweek. We’ll start off with morning fog as the marine layer brings in the clouds overnight. The fog will quickly burn off in the morning, leading to sunny skies. High temperatures will be back into the mid to upper 80s inland and mid 60s along the coast.
Have a super Sunday!
