Slightly Cooler Saturday

Chief Meteorologist Justin Stapleton‘s Friday Night Forecast Discussion:

**Wildfire information: Oregon Wildfires ***

This weekend, we’ve got a good looking forcast for folks headed to Brownsville for the Bi-Mart Willamette Country Music Festival.  We’ll see morning clouds and afternoon sun with highs in the low 80s both Saturday and Sunday. A slight chance to see some isolated thunderstorms in the mountains but other than some light morning drizzle at the coast, it’ll stay dry the entire weekend.

Next week, winds will stay westerly but there’s no storms coming so it’s back to dry and sunny! Highs will climb back into the upper 80s by Monday and hold there through Thursday. Looking out into next weekend, there’s a slight chance for another low to develop which may bring some thunderstorms and/or light showers, but that should hold off until late next week.

Have a great weekend!
