While the east coast prepares for Sandy, things seem pretty mild here in Oregon.
You may have noticed that along with the rain this weekend, it was also pretty warm. We’re taping into some warm tropical moisture as the jet stream is on a direct path from Hawaii to the Pacific Northwest. Highs topped out in the mid 60s Sunday and only dropped to the upper 50s overnight.
Another disturbance will move in tonight. We’ll see the showers pick back up tonight and continue off and on Tuesday.
A larger storm is headed our way for Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. This will bring back the heavier rain which we’ll see through Thursday morning. Temperatures will also drop to the lower 60s Wednesday and to the upper 40s Wednesday night.
Grab the poncho for trick-or-treating!
Have a great Monday,
