Chief Meteorologist Justin Stapleton‘s Evening Forecast Discussion:
Our first good Fall storm is underway this afternoon with a cold front moving across the state. For the rest of Friday evening, expect scattered showers on and off throughout the rest of the night. Saturday will start off damp, cloudy and cool with lows in the low 50s.
Saturday will see showers with occasional sun breaks during the day. With cooler air moving in as well, highs will be well below normal, in the mid 60s. Also, some showers may contain small hail with the cold pool of Arctic air moving through the state as well. Another strong front hits on Sunday evening and even looking into next week, more storms are lined up for what will be a showery and cool start to Fall.
Dry time looks to finally move back in by next Thursday and Friday with high pressure bringing sunny skies and finally a return to highs in the 70s.
Have a great weekend!
