The Lane County Elections Office suggests you mail your ballot in by Thursday, May 16.
But that’s not the official deadline. Voters can drop their ballots off at the elections office right up until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The Lane County clerk says the county is on track for a high turnout.
“Certainly we’ll know a little bit more through this weekend, but we’re planning and staffing for 50 to 55 percent which would be over a 100,000 ballots,” said Cheryl Betschart, Lane County Clerk.
The county clerk wants to remind voters to sign the outside of the return identification envelope.
