Friday Forecast Discussion:

High pressure is moving in and we’re kicking off Spring Break with sunny dry weather across Oregon. Patchy fog has formed once again in the valley as temperatures once again dropped to the low 30s overnight. The will clear though mid-morning and with clear skies overhead we’ll be right back into the mid to upper 50s this afternoon.

High pressure will be even stronger this weekend, which will keep our skies clear and warm us up into the upper-50s and low-60s in the Valley. The Coast will also warm to the upper-50s and low-60s, it’ll be the upper 60s for the Umpqua Basin and the Cascades will be in the upper 50s.

By Monday we should make it to the mid 60s even in the Valley as high pressure continues.

It’ll be back to reality next week. We’ll see rain showers Tuesday through Thursday with highs back to the mid 50s.

Have a great weekend and welcome to spring!
