High pressure is back and it’s back to sunny mild weather! The skies cleared Monday night and the temperatures dropped through the night. We fell to 33° at 4 a.m. and the fog quickly formed. That fog will stick with us in the Valley and Umpqua basin through mid-morning. Once the fog clears it’s back to sunny skies for the afternoon. Highs will climb to the mid to upper 50s.
This high pressure will continue to keep us dry and mild through Thursday. High temperatures will be even warmer in the upper 50s and low 60s, but low temperatures will be cooler into the low to mid 30s.
The next chance for rain isn’t until Friday. We have a slight chance for seeing isolated showers Friday before returning to dry weather for the weekend. This weekend is also shaping to be quite warm as well, in fact likely the warmest weekend so far in 2014!
Have a great day,
