Springfield Board Discusses Bond Measure

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — The Springfield Public School board will meet to discuss a $60 million proposed bond for the school district on Monday.

The bond would replace Hamlin Middle School, which is more than 50 years old, and would bring wi-fi and new computers to schools.

The board will discuss approval for the bond’s appearance on the November ballot.

The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. at the District Administrative Center in Springfield and there will be time for public comment on the proposed bond.
