EUGENE, Ore. — The Springfield Chamber of Commerce held its 18th annual Business Expo Saturday.
The event started this morning at the Valley River Center Mall.
Over 80 businesses were set up throughout the mall, giving out free samples and other giveaways to the public. Coordinators say businesses throughout the years have enjoyed being a part of the expo because it helps showcase to the public what they do.
“Most of every business that participates in the Business Expo, they have the opportunity to showcase their business and almost every business gets business right away. If not, it trickles in throughout the year and it’s a great benefit for them just to get exposure,” said Jason Stubbs, volunteer event coordinator.
There was also plenty of live entertainment. The event is organized by Springfield Greeters, a networking and outreach committee of the chamber.
