SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — A woman was sent to the hospital after a crash on Marcola Road and Q Street Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews were called after 8 a.m. when witnesses say a white Honda came barrelling through the intersection around 60 miles per hour and hit a Chevy and a red car.
The woman in the Honda was taken to the hospital.
“All I felt was the impact…and I was shocked because I realized that the seat got knocked back inside and I couldn’t reach my break pedal, and then I was stunned,” said crash victim Arelene Waite.
The people in the two other vehicles were okay.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
