SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — The city of Springfield is looking for 10 to 15 residents to serve on a pedestrian and bicycle advisory committee. The committee will meet about six times a year to discuss issues related to pedestrian and bicycle programs and facilities. You have to be a resident of Springfield to apply, and the city aims to have committee members who represent many different groups, including youth ages 16 – 19, senior citizens, and the disabled.
You can pick up an application at Springfield City Hall, and you have until noon on August 22nd to apply.
