St. Vincent de Paul Re-Opens Center

EUGENE, Ore. — One of Eugene’s homeless facilities is reopening its doors Wednesday.

This comes after months of much-needed renovations.

St. Vincent de Paul its Eugene service station wasn’t able to serve a growing number of homeless adults in the area, so they used a grant to add seats to their eating area.

They also added a full kitchen where they can cook and store food from Food For Lane County.

The public is invited to the grand opening at 11 a.m. Wednesday. It’s located at 456 Highway 99 in Eugene. Mayor Kitty Piercy will be there, and lunch will be served.
