Staying Chilly With A Pinch Of T-Storms

Justin’s Wednesday Night Forecast Discussion:

A tad cooler today but still many areas saw mid to upper 50s. That won’t be the case tomorrow or likely into the weekend. The low driving in the cold air is still offshore but on the move and will move across Western Oregon tomorrow and Friday.  With the cold air spilling in, highs will struggle to see 50 both days. Additionally, we’ll catch some isolated showers and with a few sun breaks, a thunderstorm or two in the mountains.

As you might guess, mountains will see all snow with snow levels around 2500 feet into the weekend. Not much in the way of accumulating snow near Pass level, a few inches, but higher elevations may see some decent snow through Friday.

The weekend quiets down a bit, Saturday should see the rain showers end for the day, highs bumping back into the low to mid 50s. But there’s more rain coming Sunday night and Monday.

Have a great Thursday!
