METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
High pressure was in full control Saturday, keeping the skies clear. With winds out of the south, temperatures warmed into the upper 80s near 90 inland and near 70 along the coast.
Sunday will start off with some fog, but sunshine will return by the afternoon. Highs will be slightly cooler than Saturday; highs will be in the mid 80s inland and upper 60s along the coast.
An upper level low will move in just of the coast Sunday night. This will bring the chance for a few showers Monday through Tuesday. Most of the showers will stay along the coast. High temps will be near 80 inland and upper 60s along the coast.
The weather is uncertain for the rest of the week and depends on where the upper level low moves. If it moves into Washington we’ll see the return of sunshine with highs near 80 inland. If the low moves into southern Oregon, we’ll have the chance for showers Wednesday through Friday.
Have a super Sunday!
