Stolen Church Trailer Found

1-30 TRAILEREUGENE, Ore. — A cargo trailer stolen from a Eugene church this week has been found.

The pastor of University Fellowship Church says police found the abandoned trailer in the Creswell area, but all the musical instruments and equipment inside were gone.

The trailer disappeared Tuesday morning.

The pastor says it had a new sound system for their college ministry, with keyboard and drums inside.

Police also found boxes of kids toys, and photo albums inside the trailer that weren’t there before.

The contents were valued at between $15,000 and $20,000.

The college pastor says they got resourceful for their Tuesday night worship.

“We were able to piece together kind of a makeshift sound system for Tuesday night but it’s really nice to be able to have the full system. We can have the full system, we can have a full band,” said Solomon Rexius, University Fellowship Church College Pastor.

The church is going to wait and see if any of the instruments are returned during the next few weeks, but insurance could help cover the loss.
