EUGENE, Ore. — Prom season is here. The cost to go to prom can add up–tickets, dinner, the dress.
A local shop is helping students dress for the affair, and you can help. It’s a fundraiser called Once Upon a Prom.
The event’s organizer Tami Dean joined us live on KEZI 9 News This Morning to share more about the fundraiser.
To donate a dress, drop it off is Saturday, March 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Little Black Dress shop located off Willakenzie and Coburg roads.
Students can pick up dresses on April 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building, located on 16th and Willamette Street. It’s first come, first serve.
