SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — The clock is ticking for holiday shoppers, but procrastinators are in luck. Stores are holding marathon shopping hours until Christmas.

Shoppers are making that last minute holiday dash at stores like Kohl’s at Gateway Mall, which stayed open from Friday morning through Tuesday morning.

Toys R Us also stayed open since Saturday and won’t close its doors until 9 p.m. Tuesday. Macy’s will stay open until 6 p.m. and the Holiday Market will be open until 4 p.m. Over 300 local artisans offer unique gifts there.

“The buckle of the belt itself is 20 feet of snare wire so you can catch rabbits and squirrels and things like that and this pin is a fire starter so you can strike off that,” says Christopher Savage of Savage Expedition Gear.

And for the down to the wire last minute shopper, there’s an app called Yiftee. It let’s you order gifts from businesses and have them delivered immediately on Facebook in the form of a gift card. There are about 35 participating retailers in Eugene.
