Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion:
A storm is headed our way and the clouds are already moving in. This storm won’t actually get to the valley until late tonight, this will leave us partly sunny Wednesday with highs near 80°.
As this area of low pressure move through Thursday we’ll likely see scattered showers for most of the day and chances for thunderstorms as well. The rain will begin overnight and continue off and on through Thursday night. Thunder and lightning is also possible most of Thursday. This storm is bringing with it a colder air mass. Highs will fall to the low 70s.
We’ll clear out rather quickly Friday and it’s back to summer like weather for the weekend! Highs Friday will be near 77°, then it’s back to the low to mid 80s Saturday – Tuesday.
Have a great day!
