EUGENE, Ore. — In two weeks Oregon’s strongest man will embark on the biggest journey of his career: the North American Strong Man Championship. Will Dinwiddie has essentially been training for this moment for half of his life. Most recently his training has been competing in Strong Man competitions. He holds the title in four other states besides Oregon.
He was prepared to win the National Championship last year, but tore his bicep a month before the event. Five months later, he tore his other bicep. Against doctor’s orders, he continued to train throughout his recovery process. Dinwiddie says he’s currently the strongest he has ever been. The undefeated Strong Man Champion is ready to take on his ultimate goal, not only for himself, but to inspire others. The North American Strong Man National Championship takes place November 2 and 3 in Mississippi.
