Student Robbed near UO

University of oregonEUGENE, Ore. — University of Oregon police has issued a campus alert after an early morning robbery.

The victim, who’s a student, says it happened around 1:00 a.m. Friday on Alder Street near 16th Avenue. He says two white men approached him. One grabbed his arms from behind while the other threatened to punch him. After taking his wallet and cell phone, they told the victim to run away.

The man who made the threat is described as white, college-age, with a muscular build, about 5-foot-11 with short, straight, brown hair and facial stubble. He was wearing a dark long-sleeved sweatshirt.

There is no description of the second man. If you have information, call police.
