Students Camp Out for UO Surplus Sale

EUGENE, Ore. — Thousands of people flocked the athletic surplus sale at the Moshofsky Center on Saturday.

The annual sale offers extreme discounts on duck athletic gear.

Students we spoke with say they go to great lengths to be first in line.

Some even camp out the night before.

I’ve camped out all three years of my time at the university and I know people that have camped out the last seven years,” said Harrison Wayne, UO student.

He says when the date of the sale comes out students start planning early.

The gear ranges from Duck helmets, jerseys for all of the university sports, athletic shoes and more.
