Ebola(CNN) — Six Tuskegee University students are stuck in Africa as a result of the Ebola epidemic.

According to the university, the students have been participating in a study abroad program in Liberia since June 29 and were supposed to return later this week.

It could be as late as Aug. 31 before they can come home because of suspended flights to the nation. British Airways expects to resume flights then.

Tuskegee University confirms that they are in contact with parties at the national and international level to help expedite their arrangements.
