Students to Ask for Requirement Change

rallyEUGENE, Ore. — Following the sexual assault allegations involving three former UO men’s basketball players, students will be making recommendations at a University of Oregon Senate forum Wednesday, aimed at ending sexual violence on campus.

Students with the Safer Campus Campaign say they’ll ask the school to expand the UO’s multicultural education requirement to include one class addressing gender, sexuality and social inequality.
